Culture Through Design was the selected concept for the 2025 Spokane Falls Community College Graphic Design graduation show. The theme celebrated Spoakne's local cultural identity and creative expression, emphasizing how visual design is multi-cultural and can preserve, reflect, and amplify diverse perspectives.
Students collaborated in teams to develop and pitch event branding concepts to a panel of local design professionals. Culture Through Design was ultimately selected as the winning concept.
I began as the web developer for the project and later transitioned into the role of Art Director to lead the execution of the event’s visual identity. I created the core art concept, designed individual logos for each represented culture, and developed key deliverables including posters and promotional mailers. The result was a cohesive and inclusive brand system that unified student portfolios under a shared
cultural narrative.
